Manikanta Bandham

Manikanta Bandham is a skilled data scientist and machine learning engineer with extensive experience in research and industry. At Stony Brook University, Manikanta served as a Machine Learning Research Assistant, working on fine-tuning visual language models for scientific claim verification and conducting RNA single-cell sequencing analysis to explore gene expressions related to hunger. Previous roles included contributions at Ford Motor Company, where data solutions were developed to reduce processing times, and at Lumen Technologies, where semantic tools were implemented to enhance post-incident reporting. Most recently, Manikanta worked as a Data Scientist at Amazon, focusing on shipment defect analysis and statistical network optimization. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at Stony Brook University, Manikanta also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
