Nina Maung

Nina Maung currently serves as the Senior Associate Vice President for Research Development and Partnerships at Stony Brook University, where efforts focus on expanding the R&D enterprise and fostering strategic collaborations. Previous roles at the university include Associate Vice President for Research, where Nina led initiatives to support faculty in securing research funding, and Assistant Dean for Diversity, directing the Center for Inclusive Education, which expanded to seven programs with over $20 million in funding. Additionally, Nina has held positions with the National Science Foundation, contributing to workforce development initiatives, and consulted for organizations like Save the Children and UNESCO, managing education programs in various regions. Nina holds a BA in Sociology & International Perspectives and an MPA from the University at Albany, along with a PhD in Technology, Policy and Innovation from Stony Brook University.
