Chris Oosthuizen has extensive work experience in sales and marketing roles. Chris started their career at Red Bull in 2007 as a Red Bull Musketeer and worked there until 2008. Chris then joined South African Breweries as an Account Manager from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, Chris transitioned to Stor-Age Property REIT Limited as a Key Account Manager and later took on roles such as Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, National Sales and Marketing Manager, GM: Sales and Marketing, and Group Head: Sales, Marketing and Product. Since 2020, Chris has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Digital First, a company specializing in digital marketing services for the self storage sector. Currently, Chris holds the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Stor-Age Property REIT Limited.
Chris Oosthuizen began their education journey in 2011 at Stellenbosch University, where they completed a short-term program in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, earning a MDP degree. In 2012, they pursued further studies at the same university and completed an SMDP in the same field of study. In 2013, they attended the University of Lincoln, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Chris also obtained a Digital Marketing Certificate from Stellenbosch University in the same year.
