Ad Smit

Ad Smit currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Packaging Solutions at Stora Enso since December 2023. Smit has held various leadership roles, including Advisory Board Member at Nooteboom Textiles and Supervisory Board Member at Clondalkin Group, both since July 2019 and December 2016 respectively. Previously, Smit was the Group Chief Executive Officer of De Jong Packaging Group from September 2020 to December 2023 and served as CEO of De Jong Verpakking BV from October 2012 to September 2020. Earlier experience includes the role of CEO at Stepah nv, where bio-polymers were produced from whey, and at Smurfit Kappa Group as CEO of the Specialties Division.
