Ilari Laukkanen

Ilari Laukkanen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Consultant at Jaakko Pöyry Consulting for six years. In 2006, they joined WSOYpro as a Consultant, where they focused on training and e-learning projects and acquiring new accounts. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Venture Analyst at an undisclosed company. Ilari then joined Stora Enso in 2009 as a Manager, Business Development, where they actively participated in strategy processes, acquisition cases, and strategic investment projects. In 2012, they transitioned to the role of Market Controller, Consumer Board, responsible for market control in the Consumer Board division. In 2015, they became a Business Unit Controller, Carton Board, overseeing financial control for the Carton Board division. In 2018, they were promoted to Vice President, Controlling, BU Consumer Board, responsible for the financial controlling of the BU Consumer Board. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Controlling, BU Fresh Containerboard, which they have been serving since October 2023.

Ilari Laukkanen obtained a Master of Science degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, with studies taking place from 1995 to 2002.
