Jami Maijanen

Jami Maijanen is an experienced automation and project management professional with a robust background in the pulp and paper industry. Currently serving as an Automation Engineer at Stora Enso since May 2021, Jami is involved in the O750-project automation at Board machine 6. Previously, Jami held various significant roles including EIC project manager for the Lignode project focused on producing batteries from trees, Engineering Manager at Efora for the Sunila pulp mill Project department, and EA Manager at CTS Engtec. With extensive tenure at UPM - The Biofore Company from 1997 to 2019, Jami contributed to numerous projects including instrumentation and automation management, maintenance management, and EIA project management, overseeing initiatives such as the Taurus project in Uruguay and several pulp mill upgrades. Jami's career began as a Maintenance Engineer at Metsä Fibre, where project management advisory in instrumentation and DCS was provided. Jami holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Measuring and Control from Helsinki Polytechnic.
