Kirsi Sinkkonen

Kirsi Sinkkonen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data privacy and IT management. Currently serving as the Group Data Privacy Manager at Stora Enso since November 2017, Kirsi oversees the privacy compliance program, including governance, performance monitoring, regulatory processes, and risk assessments. Prior to this role, Kirsi held the position of Chief Information Officer at Lappeenrannan Energia Oy, where responsibilities included IT leadership and managing sourcing and contracts, as well as leading CRM and ERP projects. Additionally, experience as Project Coordinator at Lappeenranta University of Technology involved projects in CSR and new energy services, and as a Consultant at Pöyry Management Consulting, Kirsi focused on market analyses and strategies in the pulp and paper industry. Kirsi holds two Master’s degrees from LUT University and the University of Helsinki in strategy research and forest products marketing, respectively.
