Lars Krüger

Lars Krüger is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry, currently serving as Team Manager for Circular Chemicals at Stora Enso since December 2015, where responsibilities include leading R&D efforts in biobased chemicals, biorefinery topics, and polymerization/application development. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Specialist in R&D at Stora Enso, managing innovation projects and exploring renewable materials. Previously, Lars Krüger worked as a Medicinal Chemist at Kancera AB, specializing in HDAC inhibitors, and as a Senior Research Scientist at Karo Bio, focusing on preclinical drug development and leading chemistry teams. Early academic experience includes a postdoctoral role at Stockholm University, followed by a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Philipp University of Marburg and a Dipl. Chem. from the University of Münster.
