Marjukka Kujanpää is an experienced professional in sustainability with a strong background in life cycle assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint studies. Currently serving as the Director of Sustainability at Stora Enso since April 2019, Marjukka has previously held roles such as Manager of Sustainability LCA and Research Scientist at VTT, where contributions included sustainability assessments for various industries and participation in European research projects. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Engineer at KCL and a Project Engineer at Lappeenranta University of Technology, focusing on environmental issues and climate change. Marjukka began their career at Stora Enso Oyj as a thesis worker, producing a master's thesis on carbon balance in packaging. Marjukka holds a Master of Science in Energy and Environmental Technology from LUT University and has completed exchange studies in Technology Management at Eindhoven University of Technology.
