VP Logistics at Stora Enso

Miguel Rocha has a diverse and extensive work experience in logistics and supply chain management. Miguel started their career as an Inventory Controller at Karcher in 1994 and later joined Sandvik Materials Technology, where they held various roles such as Logistics Controller and Global Supply Chain Manager. During their time at Sandvik, they implemented new supply chain strategies and played a key role in bringing the division back to profitability. In 2005, Miguel joined Volvo Bus Corporation as Director of Supply Chain, focusing on lean manufacturing. Miguel then moved on to Gemalto in 2006 as Director of Supply Chain Operations LATAM, where they successfully transformed the smart cards operations and increased manufacturing and distribution. Miguel further enhanced their expertise by working at DHL as a Director in the Engineering & Manufacturing Sector, and at Sandvik in multiple roles, including VP of Logistics Services and Director of Logistics Crushing & Screening Division. Prior to their current role, Miguel served as the Director of Transport at ICA Gruppen, where they developed a sustainable and digitalized logistics strategy. Most recently, they joined H&M as the Product Owner of Logistics APAC. Miguel's work experience demonstrates their ability to lead and implement strategies that optimize supply chains, increase efficiency, and drive business growth. Currently, Miguel works as the VP of Logistics at Stora Enso.

Miguel Rocha completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Anáhuac from 1990 to 1994. Miguel later pursued further education at IESE Business School, where they obtained a degree in Building and Leading High Performance Teams in 2018 and a degree in PE. Implementation and Follow up of a Strategy in 2009. Recently, from 2020 to 2021, they attended IESE Business School again to complete the Advanced Management Program (AMP).
