Miika Päivinen

Miika Päivinen has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Miika started their career at Arbonaut Ltd as a trainee in 2004. Miika then worked as a Software Designer at Fastroi Oy from October 2005 to October 2006. Miika joined Stora Enso in 2006 and worked as an Application Manager until 2012. From 2012 to 2018, they served as a Solutions Architect at Stora Enso. Miika then held the position of Senior Business Architect from 2021 to 2022. Miika was later promoted to IT Manager, Forest Finland, and finally became the Director of IT Services Finland in January 2024.

Miika Päivinen obtained a Bachelor of Agriculture and Forestry (Forestry Engineer) degree in Forestry & Information systems in forestry from North Karelia Polytechnic in the years 1998-2002. Later on, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the University of Joensuu from 2002-2005.
