Miikka Andersson has extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles. Miikka began their career at Nokia, where they held various positions in supply chain management and strategy deployment. Miikka then moved on to Microsoft, where they served as the Head of Lean Culture and later as the Director of Quality. At Talent Vectia Oy, they worked as a Senior Lean Consultant and later as a Managing Consultant, focusing on lean and operational excellence consulting. Currently, they are working at Stora Enso as the Head of Operations Improvement and the Head of Operations & Supply Chain North, leading teams and driving continuous improvement, profitability, and strategic development in the Wood Products division. Throughout their career, Miikka has been recognized for their leadership, expertise in lean practices, and ability to drive positive change within organizations.
Miikka Andersson obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Oulu, which they attended from 1995 to 2000. Miikka also received a degree as an Architectural draftsman from Rakennustekniikan opisto, where they studied from 1992 to 1993. In addition to their educational background, Miikka has obtained several certifications, including Executive Program in Industrial Management from KTH Executive School (expected in 2023), World Class Manufacturing November 2020 Mission (TPS & TPM) from EU-Japan Centre for Industrial Cooperation (2020), Incident Investigation from MTO Säkerhet AB (2019), Certified Quality Auditor (2016), Certified Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt (2015), Certified Kaizen Leader (2013), Certified SCRUM Product Owner (2012), and Certified SCRUM Master (2011).
