Olivier El Asry

Olivier El Asry is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in business performance and financial management. Currently working at Stora Enso since November 2019 as Controller Business Performance for the BU Cartonboard, Packaging Materials, Olivier has led key initiatives including the overall coordination of a demerger and various groupwide cost optimization projects. Prior to this, Olivier spent five years at Syngenta, serving as a Senior Finance Business Partner where responsibilities included managing a substantial commercial P&L and supporting strategic business decisions in the Crop Protection sector. Earlier experience at Valeo involved roles as Industrial Business Controller and Treasurer, as well as an internship in business controlling. Olivier holds a Master in Finance from ISC Paris and completed the Stora Enso Global Business Controller Program at Aalto University in 2023.
