Tuupainen Sami

Tuupainen Sami has extensive experience in IT and data management, currently serving as the Head of Data, Reporting and Pulp Competence IT at Stora Enso since June 2015, where responsibilities also include roles as IT Business Partner and Process Analytics Expert. Previous roles at Stora Enso included Project Specialist for the new wood supply solution project within the WSF FOX project. Prior to Stora Enso, Tuupainen worked at Tieto from May 2001 to May 2015, holding positions such as Lifecycle Manager for Tieto Cloud Server On-Site and Senior Technical Specialist, providing 3rd level support for the Windows server team and engaging in product installations and development in a VMware ESX environment. Earlier experience as a System Analyst at Tietokesko from May 1999 to May 2001 complements this background. Tuupainen holds a degree in Information Technology from Etelä-Karjalan ammattikorkeakoulu, completed in 2001, and graduated from Imatran Yhteislukio in 1995.
