Jan Lif

Jan Lif is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the packaging materials and renewable packaging sectors, currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Portfolio Management at Stora Enso since October 1996. Lif has held various leadership roles, including Head of R&D and Product Development for Consumer Boards and Senior Vice President of R&D and Innovation for Business Area Renewable Packaging. In these positions, Lif has been instrumental in driving product strategy, innovation, and business development, particularly in lignin-based products. A strong educational background includes a PhD in Solid Mechanics and Paper Physics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, along with executive training from prestigious institutions such as MIT Sloan and IMD. Additionally, Jan Lif is the CEO of Slättaröd Agriculture and has contributions to strategic leadership through involvement in various boards and certification programs.
