Luigi la Tona

Luigi La Tona, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Luigi started their career at The Home Depot, where they progressed from Sales and Service Specialist to a managerial role, overseeing sales, purchasing, and customer service. Luigi then joined Time Warner Inc as a Policy Analyst, collaborating with third-party NGOs and corporate stakeholders to advocate for greater intellectual property rights and regulations.

After that, Luigi worked at The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong as a Business Development and Relationship Manager, successfully increasing membership revenue and engagement during the 2008 financial crisis. Luigi then joined CB Richard Ellis as a Manager of Commercial Office Leasing, where they expanded their presence and won several projects, including the leasing strategy for the largest foreign consulate office in Hong Kong.

Luigi then transitioned to Asia Pacific Properties Ltd as an Associate Director of Business Development, Global Mobility, and Real Estate. Luigi later founded their own company, ThunderWear Asia, as Founder and CEO, focusing on men's essentials. Luigi's passion for the self-storage industry led him to become the Founding Executive Director and Industry Spokesperson of Self Storage Association Asia. Luigi strategically managed and implemented organizational activities to grow and protect the industry's interests.

Currently, Luigi is the Group Director of Operations - APAC at StorHub Self Storage, where they work with country Heads of Operations and Country CEOs to ensure best operational practices, revenue growth, and a strong culture. Luigi also previously held the positions of Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of StorHub Self Storage. Luigi is also a Board Member of the Self Storage Association Asia.

Luigi La Tona, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the National University of Singapore, which they obtained between 2019 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Affairs at The University of British Columbia from 2005 to 2007. Alongside their formal education, Luigi has also obtained additional certifications including Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in 2018, Media Training from Hill+Knowlton Strategies in 2017, and a Hong Kong Real Estate Agent - E License from the Estate Agents Authority in 2012.
