Espen Martinsen

Espen Martinsen has a strong background in sales and leadership roles. Espen is currently working at StormGeo as the Executive Vice President of Sales, leading all sales teams in the company's Shipping, Onshore, and Offshore divisions. Espen also serves as the interim head of shipping digital. Prior to this, Espen worked at StormGeo Shipping, where they held the positions of VP Sales Shipping and Commercial Director Planning & Navigation. In these roles, they oversaw global sales activities in the shipping industry, selling IT solutions and consultancy services to shipping companies. Espen was also responsible for route planning, fleet performance management, and bunker optimization. Espen joined StormGeo Shipping after the company Nautisk merged with StormGeo. At Nautisk, they worked as the Commercial Director for a brief period. Before that, Espen held various positions at LEGO Group, including Nordic Field Sales Director and Senior Field Sales Manager. In these roles, they led sales teams, developed new sales methodologies, and achieved significant growth in sales and customer satisfaction. Earlier in their career, Espen worked at SuperOffice ASA as a Partner Manager, Regional Manager, and Account Manager, where they were responsible for distribution strategy, sales, and managing sales teams.

Espen Martinsen began their education in 2000 at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University, where they pursued a degree in Siviløkonom. Espen continued their studies at Nord University from 2002 to 2004, again earning a degree in Siviløkonom. In 2003, Espen briefly attended Humboldt State University, focusing on Business and earning a BsC degree. In 2004, they furthered their education at Leeds Beckett University, obtaining a MsC degree in Finance.
