Manel Ceperuelo has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Manel started their career in 2002 as a Researcher at the University of Barcelona and worked there until 2007. In 2007, they became a Research Assistant at Meteocat and later joined Activa Multimedia as a TV Meteorologist. Manel then joined Meteosim SL in 2008 as a Senior Meteorologist and Project Manager before moving to StormGeo in 2011. At StormGeo, they held the role of Senior Scientist until January 2020, when they transitioned into the position of DataOps Manager. Alongside their professional roles, Manel has been actively involved in coaching basketball teams at Fyllingen Basket since 2014, taking on various leadership roles for different age groups. In 2010, they briefly worked as a Meteorologist for Onda Cero, specializing in weather forecasting for snow resorts. Overall, Manel has demonstrated their expertise in meteorology, project management, coaching, and data operations throughout their career.

Manel Ceperuelo pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona from 1996 to 2002. Following this, from 2000 to 2002, they completed a Master of Science degree in Meteorology and Climatology at the Universitat de Barcelona. In 2002, they continued their education at the same university and earned a Ph.D. in Meteorology. Additionally, in 2005, Manel Ceperuelo attended a course on Atmospheric Convection at The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics.
