Ru Howe is an accomplished inventor, co-founder, and Chief Design and Technology Officer at Stornaway.io, a company specializing in interactive video editing and immersive storytelling since March 2019. With a rich background in the creative and technological aspects of production, Ru has served as Executive Producer for Kate Dimbleby Presents since 2000, and as Production Innovation Consultant for Labyrinth from 2018 to 2020. Previously, Ru led creative tech innovation projects as Senior Consultant and Strategic Relationships Manager at Support Partners, working with prominent media companies, and held the position of Head of Production Workflows at the BBC, focusing on improving production efficiency and collaboration. Additional experience includes serving as CEO of Chapterplay Interactive Video and Senior Digital Producer at AITIA Digital, coupled with a foundation in creative arts as a freelance artist and writer. Ru obtained a Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University and holds a degree from the University of Birmingham.
