Venelin Georgiev

Venelin Georgiev has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Venelin started their career at Telelink AD in 2003 as a Senior Expert and worked there until 2006. After that, they joined HP as a Storage Technical Support Specialist from 2006 to 2007. Venelin then worked at ES Networks as a System Engineer from 2007 to 2008 and briefly at SAS Institute UK as a Customer Support Consultant in 2008. Following that, Venelin worked at Telelink as a System Engineer from 2009 to 2011. Venelin then joined Brocade as a Brocade Resident Consultant from 2011 to 2012. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at VMware as a Sr. Storage Administrator, and from 2017 to 2020, they served as a Sr. Cloud Site Reliability Engineer at the same company. In 2020, they joined KPMG IT Service OOD as a Sr. Storage Engineer until 2023. Currently, Venelin holds the position of Solutions Architect at StorPool Storage, starting from 2023.

Venelin Georgiev completed their education in a chronological order. From 1987 to 1992, they attended Sofia Mathematical High School "Paisii Hilendarski" where they studied Mathematics. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy from 1992 to 1998, earning a Masters degree in Civil Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Venelin Georgiev obtained the certification of VMware Certified Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization from VMware in April 2018.
