Zachary Skelton

Zachary Skelton is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public service and technology. Currently serving as the Director of Veterans Affairs for Story County since May 2007, Zachary has also held roles such as a Detention Officer, Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, and various Frontend Developer positions, utilizing React and JavaScript to create tools and interfaces for investigation and flight simulation. In addition to a long-standing career with the United States Army Reserve as a Logistics Officer, Zachary has contributed to the direct support of individuals with disabilities through roles with Mainstream Living, Inc. Zachary holds a Master of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Military History from Norwich University and a Bachelor of Sciences in History from Iowa State University.
