Sheila Fitzgerald has held several roles in the healthcare industry since 2002. Sheila began their career as an RN-BC at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they frequently fulfilled the charge nurse roll on the night and day shift and provided staffing schedules. In 2007, they moved to Exeter Hospital and held the same role. Sheila then transitioned to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in 2012, where they were an Assistant Nurse Manager. In 2017, they became the Director of Clinical Services at Yankee Alliance, and in 2019 they took on the role of Senior Digital Adoption Partner at Wellframe. Currently, they are the Customer Success Lead at Story Health, a position they have held since 2022. Throughout their career, they have achieved a number of accomplishments, such as project managing the inpatient consolidation/renovation/relocation of telemetry units, developing and implementing new electronic bed board systems, and creating decentralized team models of nursing.

Sheila Fitzgerald began their educational career at Saint Anselm College, where they earned their BSN in Nursing between 1998 and 2002. Sheila then continued their education at Walden University, where they earned their MSN in Leadership and Management between 2011 and 2013. Sheila also holds a Board Certified Cardiovascular Nurse certification.
