Kjell Frostrud Johnsen

Kjell Frostrud Johnsen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2018, they served as the Director and Publisher of Egmont Kids Media at Story House Egmont NO, overseeing a wide portfolio of well-known brands and products. Kjell Frostrud also held a position in the leadership group of Story House Egmont Norge and was part of the Global Licensing Board.

In 2022, Johnsen became the Chairman of the Board for Bladcentralen AS, the largest distributor of magazines and books in Norway, representing Story House Egmont. Their role involved providing strategic direction and fostering long-term partnerships for the company.

Additionally, Johnsen has held board positions in other organizations, such as Core Content and Bulls Pressetjeneste A/S, and has served as the Chairman of the Board for several companies including Glåmdalen AS, AS Indre Akershus Blad, AS Hadeland, Ringerikes Blad AS, and Mediehuset Varingen AS.

Prior to these roles, in 2017, they were the Managing Director/Adm. direktør Romerikes Blad + Regional Director/Regiondirektør Romerike/Innlandet at Amedia AS, overseeing media houses such as Romerikes Blad, Oppland Arbeiderblad, Glåmdalen, Østlendingen, Varingen, and Ringerikes Blad.

Kjell Frostrud Johnsen attended BI Norwegian Business School from 2005 to 2006, where they studied management. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1991, they studied advertising at Merkantilt Institutt in Oslo.
