Roxanna Azari

Roxanna Azari is an award-winning spoken word artist, workshop facilitator, and consultant. Roxanna has held a variety of roles since 2006, including Co-founder of "My Story, My Terms" and Project Leader at Women's Justice NOW, Director of Coaching and Curriculum at Story2, Professional Development Trainer, Curriculum Developer, & Storytelling Coach at Story2, Adjunct Lecturer for Women and Gender Studies at Hunter College, Consulting Associate, Formally Known as Center for Talent Innovation & Hewlett Consulting Partners at Coqual, Teacher and Faculty for Summer Institute and Sisterhood Academy at Sadie Nash Leadership Project, Supervisor for Leadership Institute and Summer Camp, Case Manager, and Academy Teacher and Youth Coordinator at YMCA of Greater New York, Research Assistant at New York University, and Thomas J. Roxanna Azari has a diverse educational background. Roxanna obtained a Master's Degree in Gender, Development, and Globalization from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Women's Studies & English Literature: Creative Writing (Poetry and Playwriting) from Wheaton College Massachusetts in 2010. Roxanna also completed Literature and Women's Studies coursework at The American University in Cairo in 2008. In addition to their formal education, Roxanna has obtained three certifications from Story2: Storyhood - Career Storytelling & Teaching Fundamentals (2021), Moments Method\u00ae Storytelling Fundamentals (2021), and Moments Method\u00ae Storytelling and Teaching Fundamentals (2019).
