Gustavo Melki Portaluri

Gustavo Melki Portaluri has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Gustavo currently works at Storyblok as the Head of Product Engineering, where they lead the development of new features and apps, collaborates on a new Design System, and contributes to the development of the application. Prior to this, Gustavo worked as a Lead Front-end Developer and Front-end Developer at Storyblok.

Before joining Storyblok, Gustavo worked as a Technology Consultant at HandMade Design, where they played a key role in building the technology chapter and working on strategy projects, mentoring, and solution design.

Prior to their time at HandMade Design, Gustavo worked at Empiricus Research as a Lead Front-End Developer, responsible for developing the company's channels, and as a Front-End Developer. Gustavo played a significant role in the company's growth from a small team to over 400 employees.

Before their professional experiences, Gustavo worked as a freelancer, where they gained experience in sales, marketing, customer service, information architecture, and end-to-end project development. Gustavo also worked at LabCom Total as a Team Leader, coordinating digital projects and managing workflows, and at Atual Interativa as a Team Leader, responsible for project coordination.

Gustavo's career in web design began at Etco Comunicação Integrada, Pubdesign, and Dueto Comunicação, where they served as a Webdesigner, working on various projects.

Overall, Gustavo has a well-rounded work experience with a focus on front-end development, leadership roles, and project coordination.

Gustavo Melki Portaluri completed their education at two different institutions. From 2016 to 2018, they attended Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, where they pursued a degree in Processos Gerenciais (Management Processes) with a specialization in Administração de Empresas (Business Administration). Prior to this, in 2002, they studied at SENAC and obtained a degree in Webdesigner Expert, focusing on Internet-related subjects.

In addition to their formal education, Gustavo Melki Portaluri has also earned several certifications. In April 2021, they obtained the Scrum Foundations Professional Certificate from CertiProf. In September 2019, they completed the Digital Product Leadership program offered by Tera. Furthermore, they earned the Google Analytics Individual Qualification in August 2020. Prior to that, in January 2018, they obtained the Certificação de publicidade em pesquisa do Google AdWords (Google AdWords Search Advertising Certification). Lastly, in December 2017, they acquired the Certificação em sites para dispositivos móveis (Mobile Sites Certification) also from Google.
