Dominique Troy

Associate Director, Public Support & Solutions at StoryCorps

Dominique Troy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. They are currently working at StoryCorps as an Associate Director, leading the support team and ensuring an inclusive user experience. This involves providing accurate and empathetic support across different platforms, managing help desk systems, and implementing customer feedback for system improvement. Prior to this, Dominique worked as an Account Manager at StoryCorps, where they provided strategic guidance and creative support to clients for audio-visual projects and events.

Before joining StoryCorps, Dominique co-founded Dominique Steps Up in 2019. They also worked at Jesuit Volunteer Corps as a Senior Strategic Communications Manager, Manager of Strategic Communications, and Communications Coordinator, focusing on external communications, events strategy, and diversity initiatives.

In addition, Dominique has experience as the Founder, Yoga Guide, and Wellness Advocate at Unjar. They have also held a Development Intern position at Slow Food USA, served as a Multisystemic Substance Abuse Therapist at Jewish Board of Family and Children's Services, and worked as a Transformative Education Counselor at My Friend's Place. They have also held positions at Santa Clara Community Action Program and the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship.

Dominique Troy received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a minor in Theatre from Santa Clara University between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, in 2013, Dominique attended Australian Catholic University for a short period of time, focusing on Communication and Media Studies for their Bachelor of Arts degree.
