Kate Lyons has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. In 2010, they worked as a SLG & SMB Mid Atlantic Account Executive at AvePoint. From 2011 to 2012, they were an Account Executive at CGS, a global provider of technology-enabled business solutions. Kate then joined NTENT in 2014, where they held various roles including Account Executive, Sales Analyst, and Client Business Development until 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Publisher Development Manager at Inform, Inc. From 2017 to 2021, they were employed at JustPremium, serving as a Senior Publisher Development Manager and later as the Director of Supply, North America. In 2021, Kate joined KERV Interactive as a Publisher, Business Development. Kate then moved to Cavai in 2022, assuming the role of VP East Coast until the end of the year. Most recently, they are currently employed at Storygize, starting in April 2023 in a sales role.

Kate Lyons attended Drew University from 2006 to 2010 where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics. In 2008 to 2009, they also studied European Politics & Society at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad. After completing their formal education, Kate obtained additional certifications. In 2011, they became a VMware Certified Professional, and in 2012, they obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional - Digital Marketing certification from Microsoft.
