Mithun Pramanik is an experienced video producer and editor currently working at Chhanv Foundation since February 2020. Additionally, Mithun serves as a video journalist for Happs and Storyhunter Inc. since December 2019 and February 2016, respectively, and has been involved with NightAlley Productions since January 2010 as a director and producer. Previous roles include video journalist positions at Al Jazeera Media Network (January 2019 - March 2020) and Zinc Network (January 2017 - December 2018), as well as work as a documentary filmmaker with Pear Video (January 2016 - March 2018) and a local producer for teleSUR English (October 2015 - December 2015). Mithun holds a Master’s Degree in MSW from Indira Gandhi National Open University, earned between 2008 and 2015.
