Mona Hasselskog

Mona Wennberg Hasselskog has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Student Consultant at Academic Work until 2013. In 2010, they shifted to a Business Finance Consultant position at Manpower Sweden, where they stayed until 2015. During this time, they also worked as a Pharmacy Assistant at Apotek Hjärtat from 2011 to 2014.

In 2015, Mona joined Ericsson as a Student Brand Ambassador. The following year, they transitioned to the role of Software Engineer at Handelsbanken Capital Markets, where they automated financial job processes and implemented code utilizing VBA, Front Arena, and Python.

In 2017, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at APPRL, where they led the company's move towards AI in Fashion. Mona also built a moderation tool and improved the data engineering structure. Later that year, Mona joined 84codes as a Tech Lead / Software Engineer, working in a microservices environment and gaining experience with open-source products.

Mona continued to broaden their expertise by becoming a Guest Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2019. In these roles, they supervised and assisted students in Python and Java classes, tutored and held office hours, and supported professors with large lecture classes.

Since 2018, Mona has been employed at Storykit, where they initially served as a Software Engineer, initiating AI in the company and designing and building AI systems loved by customers. In 2022, they were promoted to Tech Team Lead.

Mona Wennberg Hasselskog has a diverse educational background. Mona began their education at LYCÉE FRANÇAIS SAINT LOUIS DE STOCKHOLM in 2001, where they completed Intermediate School. Mona then pursued a Technical preparatory year in Civilingenjör at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2012-2013. In 2013-2016, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the same institution.

Continuing their studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Mona received a Degree of Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Stockholm University in 2010-2015. In 2014-2017, they completed a Civilingenjör degree in Datateknik (Computer Engineering) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

Mona's academic journey further led their to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering with a Major in Data Science at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2016-2017.

In addition to their formal education, Mona obtained a certification in Problem Solving (Basic) from HackerRank in September 2020.
