Agnieszka Janik has a diverse work experience in the fields of design and education. Agnieszka is currently working as a Product Designer at Storytel, where they focus on UX research and design solutions for subscription-related projects. Prior to this, they worked as a UX Designer at Storytel, contributing to the growth and development of the subscriptions tech team.
Additionally, Agnieszka has experience as the Head of Design & Communication at Timeless Awards, where they designed the brand identity, website, and other brand materials for the independent film festival. Agnieszka also worked as a Senior UX Designer at SolarWinds, designing new features for application performance management and infrastructure tools.
In terms of their education background, Agnieszka served as a Lecturer at the Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design, where they taught portfolio design workshops and commercial graphics. Agnieszka Janik has a robust educational background in the field of arts and digital communication. Agnieszka began their education in 2007 at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu, where they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, which they completed in 2010. In that same year, Agnieszka enrolled in two Master's degree programs, one at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie in the field of Intermedia/Multimedia, and the other at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu, specializing in Photography and Multimedia. Agnieszka completed both programs in 2012, obtaining Master's degrees in Intermedia/Multimedia and Photography and Multimedia, respectively.
Continuing their pursuit of higher education, Agnieszka then pursued a Ph.D. in Fine Arts Studies at Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Jana Matejki w Krakowie from 2014 to 2017. Subsequently, they joined Akademia Sztuk Pięknych we Wrocławiu for a Ph.D. program in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia, which they completed in 2019, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
Additionally, Agnieszka has pursued various certifications to enhance their skills. Agnieszka has received certifications in subjects such as high-converting homepage creation, art direction, design leadership, interface design, mobile user experience design, UI design patterns, usability testing, user research, design thinking, information visualization, and usability. These certifications were obtained between 2020 and 2023 from institutions such as awwwards and the Interaction Design Foundation.
