Dominik Freunberger

Dominik Freunberger is an experienced Data Scientist with a robust background in both academia and industry, currently employed at Storytel since January 2025. Prior roles include Data Scientist positions at Annalect from June 2023 to December 2024, Nepa from May 2022 to May 2023, and Unforged for a brief period in early 2022. Freunberger's academic journey includes significant research and teaching positions, serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Stockholms universitet and IQS – Institut des Bundes für Qualitätssicherung im österreichischen Schulwesen, as well as a Lecturer at Universität Salzburg. The educational foundation comprises a PhD in Linguistics, an MSc in Psycholinguistics, and a BSc in Linguistics, all attained from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg. Research experience includes collaborations at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on experimental methods in language comprehension and neurolinguistics.
