Mikael Holmquist

Mikael Holmquist has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Mikael currently holds the position of Director of Product - Core Experience at Storytel since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Product Manager at Storytel from August 2019 to January 2022. Mikael also served as an Interim CTO at Storytel from December 2018 to September 2019 and as a Team Lead from July 2016 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Developer at Avanza Bank from March 2015 to October 2015 and at Storytel AB from November 2012 to March 2015. Additionally, Mikael founded Appsberger Syndrome and worked as a Founder/Developer from March 2011 to November 2012. Mikael also gained experience as a Swedish Language Teacher at Cork College of Commerce from October 2011 to February 2012. Mikael started their career as a Researcher at Ericsson, where they worked on a summer job at the Modern Hardware department from May 2010 to September 2010.

Mikael Holmquist holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Engineering Mathematics from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Mikael pursued further studies in Mathematics as part of the ERASMUS program at University College Cork in the year 2011-2012. In addition to their educational qualifications, Mikael has obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance in April 2019.
