Ronald Timmers

Ronald Timmers has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ronald started their career as a Postal Employee at PostNL from June 2003 to May 2009. Ronald then worked as a Sales Representative at Staples from October 2012 to February 2014.

In 2014, Ronald joined Sogeti, where they held multiple roles. Ronald started as a Functional Tester at NN Group, contributing to the rebranding project by developing test activities. Ronald then became a Business/IT Consultant at Raad van State, implementing personalized document delivery solutions. Subsequently, they worked as a Migration Tester at Achmea, overseeing the migration of policies from legacy systems. Ronald'slast role at Sogeti was a Output Management Consultant, designing and implementing solutions for highly personalized documents.

In 2016, Ronald co-founded CompareImports, an e-commerce price comparison platform. As a Full Stack Developer, they independently built the platform and developed tools on a private dedicated Linux server. Ronald continued in this role until April 2018.

From April 2018 to July 2019, Ronald worked as an Information Technology Development Manager at Boxie24 Storage. Ronald played a key role in preparing the technical elements of the company for scalability across three countries, optimizing their IT landscape.

Most recently, Ronald joined Storyteq in August 2019. Initially, they worked as a Full Stack Developer, responsible for the templating solution for After Effects creatives. Currently, they hold the position of Full Stack Lead, focusing on scaling Storyteq's After Effects tooling and strengthening their partnership with Adobe.

Throughout their career, Ronald has demonstrated expertise in full stack development, IT management, output management solutions, and software testing. Ronald has experience in diverse industries such as e-commerce, storage, and logistics.

Ronald Timmers completed their education chronologically as follows:

- From 1998 to 2005, they attended Herman Jordan Lyceum in Zeist, where they obtained their VWO degree with a focus on Natuur & Techniek + EC1.

- From 2005 to 2009, Ronald attended HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) and earned their Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Technical Business Administration.

- Ronald then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2010 to 2012.

- In 2014, they took a business course at Ohio University.
