Job description

We are looking for a recent graduate who is looking to launch their career as a Product Development Engineer working with metrology for the thin-film deposition industry.

We will specifically be looking at candidates who have recently completed their Masters or Doctorate degrees in Material Science, Physics, or some other discipline that has laid the foundation for working with metrology for thin-film deposition.

LOCATION Ann Arbor, MI area This role is 100% onsite

COMPENSATION $70 - $85K (potentially higher for an exceptional fit candidate). Academic experience, such as course projects, internships, etc. will be considered as well.

EDUCATION Masters or Doctorate Degree in Material Science, Physics, or some other discipline that lays the foundation for working with metrology for thin-film deposition.

REQUIRED

  • Hands-on experience with thin-film deposition (academic experience is acceptable)
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization is required (our client cannot accommodate Visa Sponsorship at this time)

OVERVIEW

  • In this role, you will be hands-on, interface with customers, and be involved in implementing product requirements into custom-designed products or new market applications.
  • You will additionally be involved in custom tool builds and testing.
  • This role will also provide application / technical support to our client's customers for standard and custom product configurations.
