Stephen Emmons

Stephen Emmons has extensive experience in engineering and program management, currently serving as Deputy Group Lead and Principal Program Manager at STR since March 2020. Prior to this role, Stephen worked at the Air Force Research Laboratory as a Project Engineer from March 2017 to March 2020. Additional roles include serving as a Master’s student at the Air Force Institute of Technology from August 2015 to March 2017, an Avionics Engineer in the United States Air Force from July 2013 to August 2015, and a Warehouse Specialist at ROSTER from July 2006 to July 2013. Stephen began the professional journey with summer internships and research assistant positions at Amptek, the SETI Institute, and NASA Ames Research Center in 2010 and 2011. Educationally, Stephen holds a Master’s Degree in Electromagnetics from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Norwich University.
