Nathan Cooprider

Nathan Cooprider is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in the security and software development sectors. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at STR since May 2020, Nathan previously held various leadership and technical roles at Threat Stack, Inc from March 2015 to May 2020, where significant contributions included expanding the engineering team and directing agent development. Earlier positions include Senior Software Engineer roles at Bit9 + Carbon Black and BAE Systems, focusing on threat modeling, signal processing, and system software development. Nathan holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Utah and a BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University, showcasing a strong academic foundation paired with hands-on expertise across multiple domains.
