Astrik Tenney

Astrik Tenney is a seasoned professional in grants management and philanthropic operations, currently serving as Senior Director of Grants Management at Strada Education Foundation since February 2023. In this role, Astrik oversees all administrative and technical aspects of grantmaking and monitoring, while providing strategic oversight for the foundation's philanthropic processes. Prior to this position, Astrik worked as the Senior Business Development Executive at GivingData, advising foundations on enhancing their grant management capabilities, and as Program Manager at the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, managing a substantial grants portfolio and ensuring effective grant administration. Astrik began a career at Georgetown University as a Program Officer, coordinating operational activities for the Center for Eurasian, Russian, and East European Studies. Astrik holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgetown University, having achieved Phi Beta Kappa honors.
