Heather McKay

Heather McKay currently serves as the Executive Director of the Virginia Office of Education Economic at the Virginia Economic Development Partnership since September 2021. Prior to this role, Heather held various positions at Rutgers School of Management and Labor Relations, culminating as the Director of the Education and Employment Research Center from May 2010 to September 2021, and previously as Director of Innovative Training and Workforce Development Research and Programs, as well as Assistant Director of Innovative Training and Workforce Development at Rutgers University. Heather's academic qualifications include a PhD student status at Rutgers University - Newark, an MS in Global Affairs from Rutgers University, an MA in History from Rutgers University - Newark, and a BA in Political Science from Bryn Mawr College.
