Hector Flores

Hector Flores is a Project Manager and Monitoring Technician at StraightUp Solar, tasked with overseeing maintenance visits and monitoring over 1000 solar arrays to optimize production since September 2021. Prior to this role, Hector served as a Professor of Environmental Sciences and Natural Resource Management at Universidad Nacional de Agricultura from August 2011 to May 2014, where responsibilities included managing a data project to enhance the university's student data usage and supervising daily farm activities. Hector holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainable Energy from Eastern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Natural Resources Management from Universidad Nacional de Agricultura, with ongoing education at Humboldt State University, North Carolina State University, and Oregon State University since 2010.
