Valerie Corey

Valerie Corey, Commercial Project Manager & Team Lead at StraightUp Solar since July 2017, is also in charge of coordinating project offices and handling solar permits and utility interconnections. Previously, Valerie worked as a Research/Appropriations Analyst at the Illinois House of Representatives, drafting legislation and analyzing revenue-related issues. Valerie also has experience as a Student Assistant at CAIT and as a Survey Worker/Lab Worker at the Illinois State Archaeological Survey. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with minors in Anthropology & German from Western Illinois University.
