Ashley Hansen

Ashley Hansen is an experienced English Language Consultant and French Translator with a diverse background in medical, legal, and technical translation. Since August 2012, Ashley has worked at Mapi Group focusing on the translation, localization, and adaptation of medical materials. Freelance projects include collaborations with various companies on multilingual brand projects, technical translations in aviation, medical records, and academic works. Currently, at Straker Translations, responsibilities encompass drafting legal documents and creating marketing materials for a toy company. Additional roles have included marketing management, teaching, and extensive interpreting experience, notably with Geneva Worldwide. Ashley holds a Translation Certificate from NYU and has studied Contemporary Philosophy at Université Paris-Sorbonne, along with a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and French from SUNY New Paltz.
