Umashankar Karmya

Umashankar Karmya has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and delivery management. Umashankar most recently worked as a Program Manager at Stralto, Inc. starting in August 2022. Prior to that, from July 2021 to July 2022, they served as a Delivery Consultant at PwC Australia. Before that, from October 2020 to July 2021, they held the same position at RXP Group.

Umashankar has also worked at various other organizations in different roles throughout their career. From October 2019 to March 2020, they were a Delivery Manager at Qantas, where they managed the testing of a new crew management application and oversaw system integration testing. At ExpediteIT Pty Ltd, Umashankar worked as an S/4HANA Functional QA Lead from March 2019 to October 2019.

In 2018, they served as a Functional QA Governance Manager and Scrum Master at icare NSW. Prior to that, from May 2015 to December 2017, they worked at Commonwealth Bank as a QA Stream Lead and UAT Manager. From January 2013 to May 2015, they were a Test Manager and DevOps Lead at Westpac.

Umashankar also has experience as an Engineering QA Lead at Cubic Transportation Systems from June 2012 to December 2012 and as a VHA Test Manager at Vodafone from June 2011 to June 2012. Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in testing, delivery management, and quality assurance, utilizing tools such as JIRA for planning, managing, and reporting on testing activities.

Umashankar Karmya obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University. Umashankar pursued their education at the university from 1992 to 1996.
