Abigail Mungcal

Abigail Mungcal is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Currently serving as a Senior Associate Scientist at Strand Therapeutics since September 2022, Abigail previously held the position of Associate Scientist II at the same organization. Prior experience includes roles at Vor Biopharma as an Associate Scientist I from May 2021 to July 2022, and a Solid State Intern at Vertex Pharmaceuticals in early 2020. Abigail began their career in the field as an Analytical Development Co-op at Ocular Therapeutix, Inc. in 2019. Abigail holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Northeastern University, attained in 2021, and a High School Diploma from the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy.
