Ashok Gopinath

Ashok Gopinath has a diverse work experience in the field of genomics and biotechnology. Ashok currently holds the position of Partner Development Head at Strand Life Sciences, where they aim to find unique genomic applications that will impact human health. Prior to this, Ashok co-founded and served as a Director at The Genome Bridge, focusing on the development of TGB Diagnostics Foundation.

Ashok Gopinath earned their PhD degree in Biochemistry and molecular biology, genetics, evolution, and behavior from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) during the period of 1995 to 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Microbiology from MS University, Baroda from 1993 to 1995. Earlier, they pursued undergraduate studies at St. Josephs College of Arts and Science from 1990 to 1993. Ashok's education journey began at Bishop Cotton Boys School, where they completed their high school education from 1983 to 1989.
