Iain Pickard

Iain Pickard is a co-Managing Partner and Founder of Strategia Worldwide, established in September 2015, where the focus is on helping organizations execute strategies, manage risks, and build resilience through a global network of experts. As Consortium Leader at Tailings Protect since August 2020, Iain supports mining companies in meeting the Global Industry Standard for Tailings Management. Iain co-founded Sigma7 in July 2020, serving as President and COO until December 2022, where $30 million was raised for risk advisory services through a 'buy and build' model. Previous roles include COO/CRO at Orwell Group, Partner & Head of Financial Services at RSM UK, and various leadership positions at Aon, Cooper Gay, Marsh, and extensive service in the British Army. Iain holds an MBA from Nottingham University Business School and master's degrees from the Open University and the University of Balochistan, alongside a bachelor's degree from the University of Leeds.
