Matt Wakabayashi

Matt Wakabayashi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Matt currently holds the role of Vice President for Advanced Concepts and Business Development at Strategic Analysis Incorporated, where they manage a corporate division and oversees contracts and workforce. Prior to this, they worked as a Principal at Katam Group from 2016 to 2022. In 2018, they were the Director at Eccalon, LLC, focusing on commercializing research projects and providing consulting services. Before that, they served as the Director of Defense Programs at IPT Associates, where they led contract execution and mentored young professionals. From 2008 to 2016, they held the position of Vice President at BAI, Inc., managing multiple contracts and identifying new lines of business. Matt began their career in 1989 as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the US Navy, specializing in operational and strategic intelligence.

Matt Wakabayashi completed their B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 1983 to 1987. Matt went on to pursue an MA in National Security Studies at Georgetown University from 1993 to 1995. In 1999 to 2000, they attended the USMC Command and Staff College, although the degree and field of study for this period are unspecified.
