Debra Millett

VP of Clinical Services & Regulatory Affairs at Strategic Behavioral Health

Debra Millett is Vice President of Clinical Services and Regulatory Affairs for Strategic Behavioral Health with over 25 years experience in psychiatric nursing. Debra has worked with children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients in a variety of settings ranging from outpatient services and serving on crisis intervention teams to concentrated care units in acute care hospitals.

Debra earned her nursing degree from University of Arkansas, achieved her Master’s Degree in Nursing and Master’s in Business Administration from University of Mary, then progressed in her career to achieve her Doctorate of Nursing from Rush University in Chicago with a focus on Systems Leadership. Debra also earned a Certificate in Autism and Neurological Disorders from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She has been a long time member of the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) organizations.

Debra upholds Certifications through ANCC in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing and Nursing Executive, Advanced. Over her career, Debra has also worked in other roles such as Infection Control, Employee Health, and as Hospital Educator, but her focus has always been on providing excellence in patient care, providing services to the most vulnerable populations.
