Matthew McCarthy

Matthew McCarthy has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Matthew started their career in the United States Air Force as a GIO Analyst/Engineer, where they were responsible for the storage, delivery, and integration of geospatial data. Matthew also migrated and digitized data for use in new systems. After leaving the Air Force, Matthew worked as a GIS/Photogrammetry Technician at Boeing, where they utilized various GIS software packages and technology. Following their time at Boeing, they joined Deloitte as a Geospatial and Imagery Analyst, where they developed models and assessed aviation security programs. Matthew then started their own business, McCarthy Home Services LLC, focused on general contracting and renovations. However, they ultimately decided to pursue other opportunities due to a contractor position at NGA. Matthew later worked at Skyris LLC as an Analyst, where they provided statistical and advanced analytics for multiple Special Access Programs. Matthew also led projects to develop infrastructure for measuring and analyzing key performance indicators. Most recently, Matthew joined Strategic Business Systems (SBS) as a Business Analyst.

Matthew McCarthy completed their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Geographic Information Science and Cartography from George Mason University, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended the Community College of the Air Force from 2008 to 2010, earning an Associates of Applied Science degree in Construction Technology.
