David Woodard

David Woodard has over a decade of software engineering experience. From 2017 to present, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Strategic Mission Elements, Inc., where they work on a team responsible for Virtual Machine provisioning for analysts and developers. Theirroles involve a combination of software engineering and systems administration skills, primarily using Java, Kubernetes, Puppet, and bash/shell scripting. From 2012 to 2017, they were a Senior Software Engineer at The KEYW Corporation, developing and testing Java map/reduce analytics to perform ingests, transformations, and characterizations of data within the corporate cloud infrastructure. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Software Process Technologies, Inc., leading a software development effort for an embedded Octeon processor-based network application. From 2007 to 2009, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Raytheon, integrating and testing Linux-based client and server software. From 2006 to 2007, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Essex Corporation, designing and developing text pattern searching capability for a Cross-Domain Solution on a Linux platform using C++. From 2001 to 2006, they were a Software Engineer at SAIC, developing Java Swing GUI client software, supporting the transition of software from a basic client-server model to a J2EE architecture, and being involved in the detailed design and embedded software development for the firmware on the ARM-based Mykotronx Benign Fill Module Electronic Key Management System.

David Woodard earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland between 1992 and 1997.
