Matt Colley

Matt Colley, ATC, has extensive experience in forestry and natural resource management. Currently serving as Resource Manager and Team Lead at Strategic Natural Resource Consultants Inc. since July 2017, Matt has demonstrated leadership by managing a team focused on timber valuation, setting project goals, and delegating tasks. Previously, Matt worked as a Forestry Assistant at Kim Forest Management, aiding in block development and optimizing timber harvesting operations. As a Forestry Technician at Las Consulting Inc., responsibilities included developing timber blocks and designing road layouts in the Cariboo Region. Additionally, Matt gained valuable research experience as a Field Research Assistant at the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions, where data collection was conducted to assess the impact of ecological events on forest resilience. Matt holds a Certificate in Information Technology from Thompson Rivers University and a degree from the University of Northern British Columbia.
